The official opening of the plant season was held towards the end of January. 1200 workers was busy planting strong and vital Khaya, Eucalyptus and Acasia from our new nursery. A number of local, regional and national government officials attended our event. Also attending were villagers, teachers and pupils from the nearby communes. The first image selection below dated 20th of January is from the opening of the plant season.

Mada Consult´s new large nursery in Tsaramandroso is dimensioned for producing 2 million plants. In the updated images from mid December, roughly 700 000 pots are planted with seeds of various tree species. The images from December -21 show a nearly finalized nursery with watering system in action and a busy work force on all parts of the site. The roofing above the nursery is made of wood from distance control in one of our nearby forest areas. The gallery further below show the initial work of preparing the soil, as well as mixing soil and filling pots.
